Otium evolved from the expertise at DS Plastics Group. As a Belgian company we are devoted to rotational moulding: a technique that is perfect for creating durable flowerpots and outdoor furniture. The Latin word Otium translates as enjoying free time … and that’s exact what we aim for with our creations!
Sustainable all the way
We use recycled materials and also ensure that our flowerpots, furniture and rainwater butts are optimised for recycling. But rest assured, you’ll get plenty of use out of them before then. All Otium products keep their shape, and are unbreakable, UV and frost resistant. Perfect for the sunshine – or a cosy spot indoors.

From leftover cork to flowerpot
Otium products come in two materials. On the one hand there’s new polyethylene, on the other we combine this synthetic material with cork. We use artificial corks that just missed the wine industry’s strict selection criteria and top this up with natural cork remnants. Not only does this create the typical cork look, we also get the most out of the raw materials.
Each creation with cork look is unique and available in seven shades. The flowerpots and furniture in polyethylene come in three basic colours. All items can be qualitatively recycled: so we keep things circular.
